Carlsmith Ball partners to share expertise at Oahu seminars

On Thursday, Sept. 13, Arsima Muller, chair of our Transactional practice group, will speak at a seminar entitled "Easements in Hawaii," covering easements and other real property interests for renewable energy projects. Carlsmith Ball partner Jennifer Lim is serving as program chair for the seminar, which will cover a variety of Hawaii-specific topics related to easements.  Jennifer will be also be presenting, along with Gregory Kugle from Damon Key Leong Kupchak Hastert, on the topic of mandatory public access easements.

The following day, on Friday, Sept. 14, partner Gerald Sumida will serve as program co-chair at a seminar on clean energy law, policy and finance. As chair of Carlsmith Ball's Business, Corporate and Finance group and head of our Renewable Energy and Clean Technology practice group, Gerald brings a wealth of knowledge to the event, which will provide key insights into the shifting landscape brought by Hawaii's 100 percent clean energy mandate.
