Patrick Wong Joins Carlsmith Ball’s Kona Office

Carlsmith Ball LLP is pleased to announce that Patrick Wong is of counsel in the firm’s Kona office. Wong’s practice focuses on administrative and regulatory matters, business and corporate law, litigation and alternative dispute resolution, and real estate and development.

Wong spent his early career at law firms in Honolulu, then opened his own private practice on Maui, specializing in worker’s compensation, personal injury and construction litigation. He also served as the corporation counsel for Maui County, where he implemented charter-mandated responsibilities.

“We welcome Patrick to our Kona office, where he’ll bring his deep expertise to advise our clients in business and regulatory matters,” said Joanne Grimes, co-chair of Carlsmith Ball LLP.

Wong attended the University of Hawaii at Manoa, graduating with a bachelor’s degree in political science and his J.D. from the William S. Richardson School of Law. His affiliations include the Hawaii State Bar Association and American Bar Association. He has been involved with several community organizations over the years, including Maui Pop Warner, Boy Scouts of America and Maui’s Native Hawaiian health care system, Hui No Ke Ola Pono.
