Michael G. Honeymar, Jr.
Michael G. Honeymar, Jr. is Of Counsel in the firm’s Los Angeles office and a member of its Litigation department. Mr. Honeymar has extensive experience litigating complex commercial disputes, and his practice has spanned a broad range of matters, including general commercial litigation, contracts, insurance, appellate, trademark, and securities.
Prior to joining Carlsmith Ball, Mr. Honeymar had his own practice and was Of Counsel with Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP in both Los Angeles and New York. Mr. Honeymar previously served as a law clerk to the Honorable Barbara S. Jones (retired) of the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York. He received his law degree from Columbia University School of Law, where he was Senior Editor of the Columbia Law Review and a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree summa cum laude from Rutgers College, where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa.
