Carlsmith Ball is pleased to announce that Shawn Yamada has been elected to Partner, effective July 1, 2018.
Shawn’s ability to assist clients in estate planning and probate matters as well as her work with other partners in litigating the more high profile probate and trust cases in the State made her an invaluable asset to the firm’s Tax, Estate Planning & Pension practice group. Her work includes estate planning, probate, trust administration, real property, and land use. In her new role as partner, Shawn will continue her practice and expand her probate and trust litigation practice.
Shawn received her J.D., magna cum laude, from the William S. Richardson School of Law, University of Hawaii, and received her B.B.A in finance and international business from the University of Hawaii at Manoa. She is admitted to practice law in Hawaii.
