Three Honolulu Paralegals were elected March 17 to the Hawaii Paralegal Association (HPA) Board of Directors. As former NFPA Secondary Representative, Real Estate / Corporate Paralegal Sue Alden automatically rotated into the position of Primary Representative for the National Federation of Paralegal Associations (NFPA). In this role, Ms. Alden will work on NFPA projects and serve as a liaison between HPA members and NFPA. She also received the honor of being named "Paralegal of the Year."

Litigation Paralegal Cynthia Ney was re-elected Treasurer and Litigation Paralegal Lesa Douglas-Wong was elected as Director of Public Relations.

The HPA is an active participant in the legal community and works along with the Hawaii State Bar Association to provide outstanding continuing legal education opportunities throughout the year.
