Associate Positions

Our strengths lie in the individual depth and breadth of each of our attorneys, both professional and personal, the geographic positioning of our offices throughout the Pacific Rim, and our client mix which combines an innovative local practice with an international, cross-office practice emphasizing Pacific Rim expansion.

We seek to hire and to develop attorneys who share our goals of delivering the highest quality of legal advice to an expanding client base in both our local and our international markets. Our working environment is professional yet informal. Attorneys and staff interact at all levels and there is ample opportunity, both professional and social, to acquaint oneself with the various practice sections and their work.

Summer Associate Program

Our Summer Associate Program provides summer employment and educational opportunities for law students and permits the firm and the summer associate to explore the possibility of his or her employment as an attorney. The program allows exposure to various areas of law and enables the summer associate to work directly with the firm's partners and associates. Associate advisors are assigned to the summer associates as mentors to aid in their orientation to the firm and to the specific office.

A summer social program also provides opportunities for the summer associate to get to know the attorneys, staff members, and their families in an environment apart from the office. In addition to a monthly salary, the firm pays the summer associate's airfare to and from the city in which he or she will be working.
