Vincent C. Camacho 

Vince Camacho is an associate in the firm's Guam office.  His practice includes a range of matters including business formation, consumer and commercial banking, real estate development, land use, real property, trust and estates, government procurement, and administrative law issues.

In addition to his law degree from the University of Hawai'i, William S. Richardson School of Law, Mr. Camacho has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accountancy from San Diego State University and a Master of Business Administration degree with a concentration in Finance from the University of Guam.

Prior Work Experience

Prior to entering the practice of law, Mr. Camacho worked in the accounting industry with Deloitte & Touche LLP in various capacities.  While working with Deloitte, Mr. Camacho obtained extensive experience in all areas of public accounting such as audit, tax, and management consulting.  In fact, his role as a management consultant for the Government of Guam Retirement Fund provided him the opportunity to join a large financial services firm in the nation.

For the next ten years Mr. Camacho worked in the financial services industry with a large financial services provider.  Upon joining the firm Mr. Camacho obtained a registered representative license and eventually becoming a principal with the firm.  In his role, he supervised an branch office that serviced large institutional clients.  His clients included both government and private sector employer sponsored retirement plans.

Mr. Camacho also served in the first ever elected Guam Consolidated Commission on Utilities where he served as Treasurer and Secretary.  During his tenure Mr. Camacho worked with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and U.S. Department of Interior to help bring Guam's power, water, and wastewater infrastructure systems up to required standards.  Mr. Camacho also participated in negotiations with national bond rating agencies to help secure favorable bond ratings for the Guam Power Authority and Guam Waterworks Authority.

After obtaining his Masters in Business Administration, Mr. Camacho was tapped by the Chair of the Finance and Economics Department of the University of Guam to teach Basic Business Finance, Managerial Finance, and Business Strategy and Policy at the graduate level.

During law school, Mr. Camacho externed as a law clerk to the Honorable Judge Karl K. Sakamoto in the First Circuit, State of Hawaii.  Additionally, for two consecutive summers Mr. Camacho interned as a law clerk in the Superior Court of Guam for the Honorable Justice Katherine A. Maraman, Honorable Judge Arthur R. Barcinas, and Honorable Judge Michael J. Bordallo.
